 New Concept for Document Imaging:
DocExpress changes the conventional
notions of document imaging . It is high-speed and
portable document
camera. It captures documents, photographs or real
objects smoothly in about one second. It employs
a 3 million pixels sensor to
guarantee the quality in document imaging. The
contactless design eliminate paper jam problem compared
to conventional
scanners. The New
DocExpressAF model provides auto focusing function
to make the capturing of objects
from different heights much more easily.
 Multi-function
Design:
DocExpress/DocExpressAF is portable, easy to
use, to setup and to carry. It is a good partner
of your notebook PC and can be part of your mobile
office to digitize a document at anytime and
anyplace. It is more than a conventional camera
or scanner for the following functions:
- Copier
DocExpress captures a document up to A4 size in
black and white. The captured document can be printed out
via any printer at about the original size. Coping a book
or bound documents is extremely efficient. The copied document
can be held in PDF format.
- Scanner
DocExpress captures images of real objects at high resolution
in about one second. The captured image can be in true
color or in black and white. Shooting can be triggered
manually or on time base.
- Presenter
During a
seminar session, DocExpress can
be used to project a paper document or a real object
to the large screen. It can be supplemental to the prepared
presentation file. DocExpress AF
model with auto-focus and focus by computer's control
feature makes
it irresistible for a presentation.
- DVR
DocExpress can digitize video signals
at various resolutions up to 2048 x 1536 by 3 million
pixel
model in true color, more than that of HDTV. The
digital video is compressed and stored.
The frame rate can go up to 78 frames/second by the resolution
setup.
- Fax
Machine
DocExpress can fax out captured image directly providing
an appropriate fax device driver is
installed.
- Screen Recording
DocExpress provides the screen recording function to
record the progress of one presentation
or the execution of a software.
- Storage
DocExpress captures high quality still image up
to A4 size document in about one second with USB2.0 interface
at 480Mb/s transmission speed. The Compression methods for
still images and video such as JPEG and MPEG4 format, among
others are provided.
- E-mail
DocExpress can send out the captured image directly to
the email address you desire.
 Free Accompany Software:
VideoCenter Mini encapsulates many video
and still image processing functions such as zoom, rotation,
cropping,
deskew, and shadow removall…etc. It provides the
management facilities for document images. Images can be
indexed, be packed into PDF or TIFF formats, or be printed.
On the other side, many graphic software packages can access
DocExpress via the provided TWAIN driver.
 Easy-to-Use Software Pack:
In addition to the bundled software VideoCenter Mini, we
also have six user-friendly application softwares. Each
application software is designed for one specific application
including Copy, Scan, Presentation, DVR, ScreenRecording,
and DocSkype. Among all, the DE_VideoGrab and DE_Briefing software are most useful tool for Scanning and Briefing
features.
