The Smart Controller is designed to merge our unrivalled digital camera technology with a high performance PC. Working with SuperIris machine vision cameras, the Smart Controller can perform intensive image processing. For example, the output signal "pass/fail" from SuperIris camera can be directly fed back into a production process control system immediately. Compared to standard PC based vision systems, the Smart Controller is much easier to integrate into a wide variety of environment usage and offer a better price/performance ratio. In addition, the 1.0 GHz CPU provides the power for complex, high speed image processing for a wide range of applications such as exact measurement, positioning, inspection, identification and HD video recording .

Smart Controller is housed in an extremely compact rugged metal aluminum case which measures only 17(W)x12(D)x6.1(H) cm. The case is dust proof with no ventilation holes. It is sealed fanless so that the operational noise is minimized and the need of regular maintenance is eliminated. It is made to work in harsh environments with minimun down time and service. The metal case provides great protection from shock, vibration, dust, cold, and heat while acting as a functional heat sink to ensure lower temperature operation.
